“ Having been born in Xinjiang and reared on the regional cuisine, I know excellent Uyghur food when I see it–or, in this case, taste it. The hand-pulled noodles in the lagman were springy and delicious. The lamb for the kebabs and pilaf (polo) was fresh and tender, and the pilaf itself was perfectly cooked with each grain of rice nicely separable from the rest. It was so good, and so reminiscent of my mom’s cooking, that I ordered an extra serving to enjoy the next day for lunch. Can’t wait to return! ”
“ We tried variety of dishes, and every single one was absolutely delicious! The eggplant was phenomenal - perfectly cooked and flavorful. The noodle dishes were all different and delicious too, dry noodle one is our favorite. On top of the amazing food, the service was exceptional - fast, attentive, and friendly. This restaurant is a true gem, and we can’t wait to return! ”
“ Best Uyghur food so far in the DMV area. Usually I don’t eat lamb because of its gamy smell but I really like the lamb kababs here, delicious not gamy. The cold skin noodle (凉皮) is must-try for the summertime! ”
“ More on this later, I have to focus on enjoying the dishes! (Aged Egg, meat pie, lamb rice pilaf, cold noodles) ”
“ We did take out of laghman, medium plate chicken, and the lamb kabob. It was all really good. I usually don’t like lamb that much but this was the best I’ve had. The big plate chicken was the star though. Even the noodles were good for takeout. I also appreciate not having to buy the normal size. Definitely going here more often in the future. ”
“ So so so good! Great price, amazing food, nice people! It was our first time having Uyghur food, the waiter suggested several dishes to try, I’m glad we got everything he suggested, we ate everything!! We came with our newborn and toddler, our toddler had a little bit of a meltdown and the waiter was so nice, he put on Cocomelon to help calm down our son. Thank you! Definitely will be back! ”
“ Wow. Wow wow wow. We had an incredible meal here. I got the lagman noodles and they were clearly and deliciously hand made/fresh. My friend got the Kazan beef kabab and I took some bites and it was also delicious. Highly highly recommend. ”
“ Amazing central Asian halal food , we tried all , favorite is Lagman(noodles) Beef Kazan kebab, gosh nan, zhusai nan, polov, eggplant salad, and many more ! Also place is very clean and friendly, always fresh home made food. I order even through Uber eats and dine in whenever we in Herndon or going through Herndon. ”
